Reserve Calculation App (2017-2020)

From concept to client delivery, I designed a SaaS based B2B reserve calculation solution that serviced 47 financial institutions. Following launch, SS&C Primatics successfully captured the small bank market within the reserve calculation space.

Problem + Solution:

The 2020-2021 CECL Accounting Standard required financial institutions to include macroeconomic data in reserve calculations, a process previously limited to large institutions. This created an opportunity for SS&C Primatics to target the small bank market, which was lacking this capability.

My product team addressed this with a SaaS web app that provided end-to-end reserve calculation and reporting, incorporating our in-house macroeconomic model.
